Manchester United are maintaining contact with the agents of Atletico Madrid attacker Saul Niguez.
The midfielder is expected to seek a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano this summer after losing his first-choice status last season.
Mundo Deportivo says while Saul is available, only two teams have maintained an interest in the player - Juventus and Manchester United.
Bayern Munich have also been mentioned, though board advisor and former president Uli Hoeness has rubbished the claims.
"There will be no big transfers," Hoeness stated when asked about signings like Saúl: "You can forget about it. That was discussed between the board of directors and the supervisory board at the last meeting."
