Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand would be happy if the club signed West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice this summer.

The Red Devils are linked with a big money move for the Hammers and England star, who was also wanted by Chelsea last summer.

United are also linked to Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, Real Madrid's Raphael Varane, and Atletico Madrid's Kieran Trippier, per the Manchester Evening News.

During a supporter Q&A on social media, Ferdinand replied to a question about Rice signing for United by saying "welcome @_DeclanRice" and using the crazy-faced emoji.

Ferdinand also wants United to sign Sancho, saying "Yes... just driving to Manchester now to get it done! Come on @Sanchooo10."
