Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has blasted Alessio Dionisi after talks collapsed over his appointment.
Dionisi had been in talks with Sampdoria for several weeks before he began negotiations with Sassuolo who are now close to reaching an agreement with him.
“I think Corsi was right when he said he expected a different behaviour from Dionisi," Ferrero told Il Secolo XIX.
“I can see that he ended his contract with Venezia two years ago, then he left Empoli and he abandoned negotiations with us to sign with a different club," he continued.
“I call this betrayal, I would add serial, considering what happened in the past.
“Everybody is free to make his choices, but I am free to judge, basing my opinion on what I see."
