Tottenham director Fabio Paratici is in North London to close the signing of manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
The London club have failed to secure a top class replacement for Jose Mourinho, who was sacked in April.
Per Sky Sports News, Spurs are confident of tying up a deal to secure former Wolves boss Nuno as Mourinho's replacement.
Paratici, who was hired as managing director of football this summer, is ready to push through Nuno's appointment.
Spurs have convinced the 47-year-old Portuguese to take the job, after holding talks with Antonio Conte, Mauricio Pochettino, Paulo Fonseca, Gennaro Gattuso and Julen Lopetegui in recent weeks.
