Tottenham Hotspur chief Daniel Levy wants to stop Harry Kane from joining a Champions League club.
The Spurs talisman has made it clear he wants a new challenge after failing to win any silverware in north London.
Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are considered to be the top destinations for the England skipper.
Levy is known for his hardball tactics after holding out in selling Gareth Bale and Luka Modric in the past.
And The Telegraph says Levy is once again ready to fight in the battle to keep Kane.
It is believed any deal for Kane would cost over £100m, while Levy wants to avoid selling him to any of their rivals.
Spurs are yet to hire a replacement for manager Jose Mourinho.
Discussions with Antonio Conte, Paulo Fonseca and Gennaro Gattuso have all failed.
