Olympique Lyon midfielder Maxwell Cornet is interesting Leeds United.
Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa is eager to strengthen his midfield options this summer - and Cornet has been offered by club chiefs.
The Sun says El Loco would like to sign Cornet to play him in a forward thinking left-back role, where he developed under the management of former OL coach Rudi Garcia.
Leeds are in contact with the Ivory international, but his €23m asking price is deemed too rich at this stage in the summer market.
The Yorkshire outfit will push OL to drop their demands in the coming weeks.
