Liverpool are ready to send Sepp van den Berg back to Preston North End next season.
Lancs Live reports it is understood that Liverpool are happy to let the youngster make the move to North End once again.
Their priority is a simple one - getting van den Berg a full season of game time in the Championship.
While other second-tier clubs have been credited with holding an interested, PNE proved they were a good home for him last season.
The versatile defender - who is a centre-back by trade but played at right-back predominantly - played 16 times and spoke highly of his time at the club.
It is really down to van den Berg where he goes in 2021/22 and if he remains keen to return to Lancashire, PNE will aim to get the deal done.
