Manchester City defender Ko Itakura is interesting Celtic.
The Daily Record says newly-appointed Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou is considering a move for City's Itakura.
Itakura is Japanese and can play at centre-back or as a holding midfielder.
The 24-year-old has recently enjoyed an 18-month loan spell at Dutch Eredivisie side Groningen and Greek-Australian gaffer Postecoglou is said to have shortlisted Itakura, who has five international caps to his name.
The new Parkhead boss has just left his role at J. League outfit Yokohama F Marinos, who are part of the City Football Group, after over three years in charge and Itakura signed for the Citizens in January 2019.
