SEMPORNA: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) here foiled an attempt to smuggle in RM18,000 worth of cosmetics via Kg Batu waters, near here, Sunday.
Semporna Maritime Zone Director, Norrimi Hassan, said the team on Ops Pluto Timur assignment detected the boat carrying the items at about 6pm.
