Manchester United are prepared to set up a swap with Real Madrid involving Paul Pogba for Raphael Varane.
Real Madrid are keen on Pogba, though United's €90m valuation is out of reach given the club's current financial situation.
However with United targeting Varane, AS says the English giants are willing to discuss a swap.
Real have been demanding €60m to sell Varane, but United are refusing to go higher than €40m for the France defender.
As such, a swap arrangement would suit both teams, and given both players' contracts have just over a year to run, the deal would suit all parties.
