Real Betis are fighting to hold onto Guido Rodriguez with Arsenal keen.

Estadio Deportivo says Betis are reluctant to sell as the midfielder is seen as one of their most important players.

Should Arsenal see Rodriguez as the man to bolster their midfield, they will have to meet his €80m release clause - a stunning figure considering he cost the La Liga outfit just £2.7m in January of last year.

Arsenal are just one of a number of clubs interested in the 27-year-old, but Betis are thought to favour the idea of selling a number of other players before they even contemplate letting Rodriguez leave.

William Carvalho, Cristian Tello and Loren Morón will all be allowed to depart ahead of Argentine Rodriguez.
