Jose Fonte has announced his departure from Leicester City.
The Portuguese confirmed on social media he is leaving the Foxes amid talk of him accepting the role of chief scout with Jose Mourinho's AS Roma.
He declared today: "I have decided to leave Leicester after five unforgettable years.
"The adventure was truly memorable. I wish the club and all Foxes fans success in the future."
Fonte will join an ever increasing Portuguese contingent at Roma, working with countrymen Mourinho and sporting director Tiago Pinto.
