BELURAN: The Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) via the General Operations Force Battalion 20 foiled an attempt to smuggle in 4,040 packs of contraband cigarettes worth about RM 113,320.68 at Jalan Kg Manduring, near here, Sunday.
Esscom Commander, Datuk Ahmad Fuad Othman, said a 39-year-old local was arrested as he was driving a four-wheel-drive via a rat trail (Jalan Kg Manduring) at the Sapi Nangoh Road Check Point at about 9.30am.
