England captain Harry Kane declared it a "perfect night" after their Euro 2020 quarterfinal rout of Ukraine in Rome.
Kane struck twice for the 4-0 win.
Gareth Southgate's side have yet to concede a goal in the tournament so far, and will return home to face Denmark at Wembley.
The two-goal forward told the BBC: "What a great performance in a big game, there was a lot of pressure on us. We were favourites and there was a lot of expectation. Another clean sheet, four goals, it was a perfect night for us."
The Tottenham star also insisted his slow start to the tournament never played on his mind.
He said: "It's always nice to score early in the game, it's a great feeling helping the team. There was a lot of talk about me and my performances but I'm just ready for the next game, to help this team and lead this team, hopefully, to a European final."
England have reached back-to-back semis after losing to Croatia at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Kane said: "It's where we wanted to be. We set up before the World Cup of what we wanted to achieve and take this team. We are knocking them off step by step. We had a great World Cup but fell short, good Nations League run and now another semi-final. Getting over the line is the next step and we need to do that on Wednesday."
Kane insisted the players had moved on.
He added: "More experience, we've been playing for our clubs in big games and the biggest games, the Champions League finals, Premier League title races and hopefully we can continue that. We're on the right track."
