Reds boss Jurgen Klopp still wants to add another striker to his ranks, and the German boss could now turn his attention to Celtic's Edouard.
Edouard has long been linked with a move to the Premier League and the Reds are interested.
It's suggested the Frenchman is a 'serious candidate' to make the move to Merseyside this summer.
