Getafe signing Carles Alena has paid tribute to former club Barcelona and their fans.
The midfielder from Mataro has not been able to break into the first team regularly at Camp Nou and will not take the next step of his career in Madrid with Getafe,
"16 years at Barça... it's not easy to say goodbye to somewhere that has been my home," Aleña's emotional post began. "I have been lucky and I can only say thanks from the bottom of my heart. I have no words. I'm a cule for life. I will always want the best for Barça."
