AC Milan aren't giving up on re-signing Manchester United fullback Diogo Dalot.
After last season's successful loan, Milan have made it clear they wish to bring back Dalot for the new campaign.
United have been hesitant and Dalot is currently doing preseason with his parent club.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport says United's pursuit of Atletico Madrid fullback Kieran Trippier has offered Milan encouragement.
Should United land Trippier there's confidence within Milanello that United will allow Dalot to leave before the summer deadline falls.
