Everton winger Bernard is close to a departure.
The Liverpool Echo says Bernard is moving close to leaving Goodison Park.
The Merseyside club are looking into a possible deal with a team in the United Arab Emirates. The Brazilian also has interest from teams in Greece and Russia.
When asked about assessing the first-team squad at his first press conference on Wednesday, new Everton boss Rafa Benitez hinted that the club would have to sell players in order to fall in line with financial fair play regulations.
Benitez said, "The reality is that when you go to any club the manager has to work with a director of football and the board and you have financial restrictions.
"I am happy with the lads - they are training well. If we can add players that are good for us, that is the objective. We must improve the players we have. And we must manage the financial restrictions while still being ambitious."
