Liverpool defender Rhys Williams is weighing up his future at Anfield.

Williams has admitted it will be difficult for him to play as many games for Liverpool as he did last season following the return of injured defensive trio Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez.

Williams spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan with non-league outfit Kidderminster Harriers, and the young defender hasn't ruled out another temporary spell this season, either.

“Well, for now I'm just going to see what pre-season takes," said Williams to the club's website.

“I'm going to keep my head down and then if we go back and there's not an opportunity here for me this season, then I'll go and get minutes elsewhere and come back next season trying to push for a spot."
