PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has reported 8,574 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of infections stands at 844,870.
Selangor recorded the highest number of cases with 4,308 while Kuala Lumpur had 609.
Negeri Sembilan had 794 cases followed by Kedah (415), Melaka (411), Johor (407), Pahang (314), Sabah (298), Sarawak (235), Penang (231), Perak (168), Terengganu (140), Kelantan (133), Labuan (66) and Putrajaya (45).
No new cases were recorded in Perlis.
