Sevilla have announced the signing of Tottenham midfielder Erik Lamela.
The Argentina international joins Sevilla in a swap for young Spain winger Bryan Gil.
Lamela has signed for three seasons with Sevilla after being with Tottenham for eight campaigns. At the age of 29, coach Julen Lopetegui gains a quality player who can play both on the wing and on the inside.
All this is part of the operation that has taken Gil to London. The Tottenham signing joins to 2026 and, in addition to the exchange of players, Spurs are paying €26m, which could become €30m if he meets certain targets.
