England coach Gareth Southgate says his players must not relax after their Euro 2020 rout of quarterfinal opponents Ukraine.

The comprehensive triumph sets-up England's second successive major tournament semi-final against the Danes, who defeated the Czech Republic in their quarter-final last night, at Wembley on Wednesday.

"It's fabulous. I suppose it's still sinking in that it's another semi-final - three in three years," he said

"We want to go two steps further. I know what will be happening at home. We are now playing with a lot belief and the players can see what's possible.

"We still have a long way to go and we are not satisfied. Tonight is a really enjoyable night for everybody but I've got to say I was already thinking about the next challenge before the end of the game.

"That's the one for us - we've never been to a European Championship final, it's another opportunity to make history.

"It's lovely to see everyone on a Saturday night, beer in hand. They should enjoy it. It's been a long year for everyone. I'm chuffed the two performances have brought so much happiness to people.

"We were ruthless and decisive tonight. It's fabulous for our country - a semi-final at Wembley. Everyone can really look forward to that - it's brilliant."
