Roma are pushing to sign Manchester United fullback Alex Telles.
The Giallorosso see Telles as a replacement for Leonardo Spinazzola, who is now recovering from a snapped achilles.
Sky Italia says Roma have asked to take Telles on loan, but United will only consider a straight cash sale.
A loan is all that the Giallorossi require, as Spinazzola is out of action for seven to nine months with a torn Achilles tendon.
Until the injury, he had been on track to be named Player of the Tournament for Italy at Euro 2020.
