Arsenal are facing disappointment in their quest to sign Sergino Dest from Barcelona.
Catalan radio station RAC 1 reports that Dest has made a decision on his future at the Catalan giants.
The American international is a serious target for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, per football.london.
Arsenal are close to losing veteran Hector Bellerin, who wants a new challenge at this stage in his career.
However, Dest will not be the replacement, as RAC 1 reports he is determined to stay at Barcelona this summer.
Dest said: "I want to continue at Barca."
