Former Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye won't hear criticism of Alan Pardew.
Pardew was criticised at Newcastle for his closeness to owner Mike Ashley.
But Cabaye told ChronicleLive: "From the first day we had a great relationship. He's a very good manager and very good leader. He has very good words to motivate. Players feel good with him and he can make them feel loved," he says.
"He's a very good manager but unfortunately now he has that image in England but I'm sure that he will return and be a success in England again one day.
"The image is not correct, he is a really good man and manager."
