Manchester United have rejected Roma's approach for Alex Telles.
The Italian club are looking to sign a temporary replacement for Leonardo Spinazzola.
Spinazzola injured his achilles playing for Italy at Euro 2020.
A loan deal for Telles has been put forward by Roma.
But United have knocked back the offer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The deal is now considered 'complicated' as Roma must now look to change their offer.
