Manchester United have tied down three promising youngsters to new contracts.

MEN has revealed Joe Hugill and Charlie McNeil have signed long-term contracts with the club, while goalkeeper Paul Woolston has also penned a one-year deal.

17-year-old Hugill scored 10 goals for United's Under-23s in Premier League 2 last season.

The former Sunderland man has made two appearances off the bench in United's pre-season friendlies so far.

McNeil and Woolston have been preparing for the new season with the rest of the academy squad at a training camp in Edinburgh.

United U18's have been thankful for the addition of McNeil last summer after he left rivals Manchester City.

The 17-year-old banged in 25 goals in 23 games for the U18s.
