Uncertainty around Houssem Aouar's future at Olympique Lyon is creating concern for the club's season preparations.
While OL are seeking to sell the midfielder, confirmed suitors Arsenal and Tottenham are dragging their feet in negotiations over a fee for the France international.
A source told Le Progres that OL coaching staff accept Aouar cannot be counted on for the new season.
The insider stated: "Houssem Aouar was very assiduous during the camp in Spain. But his preparation is a bit of a sham.
"His goal is to revive his talent. But his future is not quite in Lyon yet. This is the whole problem. When you are in the middle of this, there really remains much to be done."
