Arsenal are ready to bid for Real Madrid attacker Martin Odegaard.
Odegaard spent the second half of last season on loan at the Emirates Stadium and made a positive impression for Mikel Arteta's side.
He has since returned to parent club Real Madrid, who are bracing themselves for a summer of change as they look to significantly cut their costs.
Real are likely to consider significant offers for the 22-year-old this summer, which will come as good news to Arsenal.
The Athletic reports Odegaard is a player Arteta "holds in high regard" and will be ready to take action to sign the Norwegian should the opportunity arise.
