Tottenham see Lyon defender Joachim Andersen as a replacement for Toby Alderweireld.

The Daily Mail says Alderweireld has asked to leave the club this summer, while new boss Nuno Espirito Santo is interested in Andersen, who impressed last season on loan at Fulham from Lyon.

The Belgian has a year left on his current deal, with Spurs also reportedly interested in Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde and Bologna's Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Tottenham have had an offer rejected for Tomiyasu.

Spurs offered £12.9m (€15m) plus an extra £2.6m (€3m) in add-ons in a bid with a total value of £15.5m (€18m).
