Kota Kinabalu: Due to the threat of Delta variant infections, the Philippines’ borders will remain shut to travellers from Malaysia and nine other countries until mid August.
Based on the recommendation from its Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), President Rodrigo Duterte (pic) officially announced that Malaysian visitors as well as those from Indonesia, Thailand, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Oman and United Arab Emirates are temporarily barred from entering the country until August 15.
