Burnley earned a hard fought friendly win over Championship new boys Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday.
Bobby Thomas netted the only goal of the game for Sean Dyche's Clarets.
The 20-year-old defender leaped high to head home Ashley Westwood's corner in the 76th minute.
The result means Burnley have now won their four pre-season matches ahead of the new Premier League season.
Burnley were impressive during both halves, limiting Blackburn to half chances and dominating possession.
