Former Brighton coach Mark Beard has left his role with the Under-18s to take up the position of assistant manager with National League outfit Stockport County.
The 46-year-old will be working with former Albion under-23s coach Simon Rusk, who took over the reins with the Hatters in February this year.
Brighton chief Dan Ashworth told the club's website, "Mark has done an excellent job with the under-18s, and this comes on the back of a really good season.
"We are disappointed to see him leave, but full appreciate the opportunity this is for him on a personal level.
"On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to thank him for what he has done for the club and wish Mark the best of luck in his new role."
