John O'Shea has left his position as Reading first team coach.
He will continue to work as assistant coach for Republic of Ireland U21s.
O'Shea will focus on finishing his pro-licence and UEFA MIP (Executive Master for International Players) course to be fully prepared for his next full-time job in the game, reports Sky Sports.
The former Manchester United, Sunderland, Reading and Republic of Ireland defender was appointed at Reading in July 2019.
