Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Builders Association (SBA) expressed confidence that the initiative taken by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor to set up a trade and tourism office in Singapore will spur the construction business between these two areas.

Its President, Henry Tsen (pic) also lauded the government efforts in rolling out the Bantuan Prihatin Sabah (BPS) 3.0 to support the state’s economy and the people who were badly affected by the Movement Control Order (MCO) and continues under Phase One of the National Recovery Plan (NRP). Since March last year when the MCO was imposed, he said the Sabah construction sector has been badly hit which saw many had stopped operation whilst some struggling to survive.
