Released Crystal Palace fullback Patrick van Aanholt is discussing terms with Galatasaray.
Galatasaray have announced on its official website that it has begun formal negotiations with Van Aanholt.
The Dutch left-back is a free agent after coming off contract at Palace this summer.
A three-year deal is being discussed between the two parties.
The 30-year-old is expected to undergo his medical examination next week. Van Aanholt scored 21 goals and produced 15 assists in a total of 213 matches in the Premier League.
