Dan N'Lundulu has put pen-to-paper on a fresh three-year contract with Southampton before joining Lincoln City on loan.
The Saints academy graduate broke through into the first team last season, scoring his first senior goal in a 2-0 FA Cup win over Shrewsbury Town.
Now the 22-year-old will have the chance to gain experience with Michael Appleton's League One side.
After announcing the deal, Saints said: "The club wishes Dan well for the season ahead and looks forward to monitoring his progress during his time at Sincil Bank."
