Agent Jorge Mendes is attempting to place Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite at Wolves.
The Denmark international is up for sale at Barca for €15m and is a target for West Ham, Brighton and Wolves.
However, Mendes wishes to set up a deal with Wolves, where he has close ties.
Braithwaite accepts Barca intend to sell him, though is insisting upon a return to England, where he previously played for Middlesbrough.
The Dane has already rejected an offer from Russia, despite Barca accepting one offer from an unnamed Russian Premier League club.
