Crystal Palace are closing in on an announcement of a new contract for Joel Ward.
The right back is the club's longest serving player and his deal expired at the end of last season.
According to the Evening Standard, Ward is one of those out of contract players who will renew with Palace ahead of the new season.
The London club will be managed by Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira in the coming campaign.
One who is expected to depart is Andros Townsend, with the winger unlikely to agree new terms with Palace.
