Juventus fullback Gianluca Frabotta is on the brink of signing for Atalanta.
Calciomercato.com says the two clubs had originally been discussing a loan with option to make it permanent at the end of the season.
However, La Dea are now prepared to commit to an obligation.
Frabotta will move to Atalanta as cover Germany left-back Robin Gosens.
He has made 18 appearances for Juventus, contributing one goal and one assist.
