Inter Milan chief Beppe Marotta has played down talk of a move for Sassuolo attacker Giacomo Raspadori.

Marotta stated that while Inter admire the player, they are not currently ready to consider moving for him.

He said, “An attractive player not only for Inter, but for many clubs.

"We are not in a position to sit down at the table given the scope of Sassuolo's request. We are talking about something else, not about this opportunity."

On new Inter coach Simone Inzaghi, Marotta added: “He is an excellent coach, who has proven to have great ability. He is the right and logical successor to a winning coach like Conte."
