Kota Kinabalu: Small and Medium Enterprise Association of Sabah (SME Sabah) supports Sabah Economic Advisory Council (SEAC) Chairman Tan Sri David Chu’s call to the Government, both State and Federal, to open up all business sectors with conditions to save their livelihoods without delay.
SME Sabah Founding President NK Foo, said: “Based on a recent survey conducted by the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development And Cooperatives (Medac) involving 6,664 entrepreneurs, one-third didn’t receive the various forms of aid, 60pc were suffering from mental health condition during the lockdown due to a decline or loss of income, debts or financing issues and risk of closure of business while 90pc had no insurance.”
