Arsenal are encouraging Roma to go higher to land Granit Xhaka.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Arsenal will not let Xhaka leave the club for anything less than £17m.
The Swiss midfielder has been linked with a move to Roma and looks set to join the Italian club this summer.
But the Gunners are standing firm over their valuation of the 28-year-old, whom they bought for £30m in 2016.
Roma offered £15m for Xhaka last week.
