Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic hopes Wednesday's clash with Brentford helps his team's progress before the season commences.
The Bees will travel to Old Trafford on Wednesday.
And after losing to QPR on the weekend, Matic wants to see an improvement against Thomas Frank's side.
"On Wednesday, we have another good match, against Brentford, so we have to keep working to see where we can improve," said Matic.
"We still have a lot of friendlies to play before the season starts and hopefully we will be ready for the Leeds game."
