The agent of Porto midfield ace Otavio supports a move to Liverpool.
The Brazilian is being linked with the Reds as a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum, now of PSG.
He made 46 appearances in all competitions last season, playing in six different positions across attack and midfield.
Otavio mostly featured on the left of the midfield, though his preferred position is central attacking midfielder, as Porto finished as runners-up to Sporting Lisbon in the league.
His performances for Sérgio Conceição have now attracted the eye of Liverpool, with his management team now giving the green light to such a move.
“If it's good for Porto and for Otavio," a spokesman for his management told A Bola when asked about his client's future.
In a major boost to the Reds, A Bola also report that Porto's price tag for the Brazilian could be slashed as they desperately seek to raise funds.
The Portuguese newspaper claim that the Dragões will sell Otavio “for a price they deem fair", heavily suggesting the original £51.5m valuation will be slashed.
