English striker Danny Welbeck is hoping to hit the ground running with Brighton and Hove Albion this season.
The forward has struggled with injury problems for the past few years after petering out at Manchester United and then Arsenal.
Welbeck is working hard during pre-season and hopes to be firing on all cylinders when the new Premier League season begins.
He said, per The Argus: "I'm pleased to get a good pre-season under my belt.
"You get your integration into the squad that way.
"I missed pre-season last year and I have actually missed a couple of pre-seasons due to injuries and that sort of stuff.
"I am very pleased to build that foundation, get that core resilience, build it up in pre-season.
"That puts you in good stead throughout the rest of the season."
