Liverpool are hoping to schedule a friendly with a top European club for next month.
The Reds are in Austria for their pre-season training camp ahead of the new Premier League and Champions League campaigns.
According to the Liverpool Echo, they want to add a home friendly to their schedule in August before the Premier League opener against Norwich City on August 14th.
Liverpool do have four friendlies that are taking place over the rest of July.
They take on FC Wacker Innsbruck, Stuttgart, Mainz, and Hertha Berlin in the coming weeks.
