Ben Davies is reportedly set to leave Liverpool for Sheffield United.
The centre-back was a surprise £2million signing from Preston in January after Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez suffered long-term injuries.
But Davies did not play a single minute of competitive football for Liverpool and now looks set to leave Anfield.
The Sun says Sheffield United have proposed a loan deal for the 25-year-old.
The Blades are trying to win promotion back to the Premier League.
Davies has 136 appearances in the second tier to his name, having spent eight years with Preston.
