Jordan Pickford has revealed he has already spoken to new Everton manager Rafa Benitez.
The Spaniard has signed a three-year deal with the Toffees, replacing Carlo Ancelotti in the Goodison Park hot-seat are his move to Real Madrid.
"With Carlo going to Real Madrid, it was hard for him to turn the job down so we knew there's a new manager," Pickford told reporters.
"Rafa's the new manager and you've seen in his career the amount of trophies he's won, his desire to win matches every time.
"I had a phone call, he rang me last night so it was nice to speak to him and he said enjoy the tournament and do well for England and see you when you get back."
