Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is training with Derby County.
The Times says manager Wayne Rooney is giving Wilshere a career lifeline with the former Arsenal midfielder training with Derby.
Wilshere, 29, confirmed his second Bournemouth exit in May after making 17 appearances last season, scoring twice.
He helped Bournemouth reach the play-offs after finishing sixth, but they were beaten by Brentford over two legs.
After spending the summer considering his options, ex-England team-mate Rooney has given Wilshere a place in his pre-season squad.
